VÆN Padel is operated by JVA Management BV, Koolmijnlaan 405 bus 1, Heusden-Zolder, Belgium (company number / KBO 0803.252.842). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

Questions about your data? Email us at officialvaen@gmail.com. We answer every request.

We only collect what the app needs to work:

• Your account: email address and display name.
• Your date of birth, used once to confirm you are 16 or older.
• The match logs you enter: results, scores, venues, and player names you type in.
• Your gear locker items.
• Your club membership and the players you connect with.
• If you choose to link it, a reference to your official federation ranking profile (for example Tennis en Padel Vlaanderen) and the level we read from it.
• First-party usage events (for example opening the app or logging a match), recorded on our own servers to understand how the app is used and improve it. These carry no advertising identifiers.
• Technical logs needed to keep the service secure and running.

We use your data to provide the service, to calculate your VÆN rating, and to improve the product. That is it. We do not build advertising profiles.

Your data is stored with Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany (AWS eu-central-1), inside the European Union. The app is hosted on Vercel.

VÆN Padel shows no ads, uses no third-party tracking or advertising SDKs, and never sells your data. The only usage measurement is the first-party, server-side event log described above, which stays inside our own database.

We keep your data until you delete your account. You can delete your account yourself at any time in Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account, profile, rating, solo match logs, and gear are erased and cannot be recovered. One exception: a match another player independently confirmed is shared between you both, so it is not deleted outright; instead your name is detached from it, leaving the other players’ record intact.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is wrong.
• Erase your data (delete your account in Settings, or email us).
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Complain to the Belgian data protection authority, the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

VÆN Padel is for players aged 16 and up. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. For meaningful changes we will let you know in the app.
